Virtual Telethon, October 15, 2020

Join the 1904labs in-house band, MVB, in supporting and raise money via a virtual telethon for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Normally around this time of year, our cycling team - the Minimum Viable Peddlers - are out on our bicycles, raising money to support the MS Society in their annual MS150 bike ride. We had a great ride last year, and raised several thousand dollars.

In 2020 the pandemic sidelined us, so instead of riding, we were at the Cortex on that fall evening, socially distanced, doing a virtual musical fundraiser. For an enjoyable hour, we were there to ask you to open your hearts and your wallets while we make some music, share some great videos from the MS Society, and have some fun.

Multiple Sclerosis is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. So many in our community, our friends, our family, are diagnosed with this disease. The cause of MS is still unknown. The MS Society is dedicated to a vision of a world free of MS. And we at 1904labs and Lifting the Lou are here tonight to help them. So let’s get together virtually, listen to some music, and put the FUN in FUNdraising!
